WHOIS Tiago?
Tiago Martins Pinto (1985, Portugal) is a new media artist and
art-based researcher revolving around community-engaged art and
informal pedagogy practices. He is currently a doctoral candidate
in Contemporary Art at Aalto University in Finland.
His artistic practice spans various disciplines, including video,
installation, live-performance art, and scenography, having
displayed his work in countries such as Portugal, Germany, Canada,
Iceland, Finland and garnered support from several prestigious
institutions, including the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Robert
Bosch Foundation, Kone Foundation, and EMMA - Espoo Museum of
Modern Art.
The smell of the ocean in the early morning, the mist and
the wet sand are one of his fondest memories.
